Sarah and Reems

I am so very behind in my blogging I thought it was about time I shared one of my favorite sessions from recent weeks. This gorgeous couple were just so naturally happy and in love and I am thrilled with all of the moments I captured in a very beautiful Noosa location.

Molly and Avery: Bump Shoot

I've never liked the term 'tickled pink' but I'm not sure if I could think of any other way to describe how excited I am about this shoot. Both Molly and her cheeky daughter Avery are so natural and gorgeous in front of the camera and I love the setting in my local area of Peregian Beach. We started at my home studio for the first few shots then threw on some gumboots and headed into the fields for some truly memorable portraits. Molly has just 6 weeks to go and bub's sex is a secret!

Dominique and Mark

Dominique and Mark - a truly wonderful Brisbane couple - chose the fabulous Outrigger Noosa as the setting for their recent wedding and with the amazing talents of their wedding planner Mellita Thomson created a beautiful wedding day to be remembered. The ceremony was on the poolside deck overlooking all of Noosa Beach and we headed to Little Cove for portrait afterwards. Dominique and Mark asked me to take a 'caught-in-the-moment' approach to their wedding day and there was just so many amazing moments between these two for me to capture! It was a real treat to be invited to their home yesterday and view their wedding day over a glass of wine and I take it as a compliment that the groom got teary! Thanks guys for including me and I'm so happy you feel I captured the day the way you had hoped!

Dusty Brown

Meet one of the sweetest, happiest little guys you could ever lay eyes on - although his proud Mum Blanka warns me he eats like a piglet ha ha. I photographed Dusty on-location at his home in the amazing Tallebudgeeraba Valley (my jobs takes me so many great places!). Even whilst peacefully sleeping Dusty had a little smile on his gorgeous face - too cute!

Kate and Brad 02/04/2011

Brad and Kate are just the sweetest couple you could meet and their gorgeous wedding theme was antique at the beach (overlooking the ocean at Point Perry, Coolum). I got a little teary behind the camera hearing during the vows that - first and foremost- these lovebirds are the best of friends and you could tell they truly meant it. Congratulations Kate and Brad and thank you for inviting me to share your amazing day with you!

feedback from Ali and Ray

I am so grateful for positive feedback and I had to share the beautiful words Ali and Ray gave me about their wedding photography:

What are the important things that people think of first to rescue and retrieve when their house is burning down?

Their photographs.

They are the most precious of memories that we have of our lives lived and the people in our lives who have touched our hearts.  They are the last things we want to lose.

You came to Fiji to shoot our wedding and you became our friend.  The day was so much fun with you and we felt so reassured and confident that those most precious memories for us, and our family and friends, would be in the safest of hands – and they were.

Your shots are outstanding, and the ease with which you gather them utterly consistent with your stated style.

We would recommend you to anyone.   We would seek your skill, warmth and friendship again and we would love to support your career goals and life aspirations because you deserve to achieve them.

Thank you so much and God bless.

Ali & Ray xx
